Weniger bekannt sind die wundersch\u00f6nen Jugendstilh\u00e4user in Aveiro und Umgebung, von denen ich einige hier auf meinem Rundgang durch die Altstadt von Aveiro vorstellen m\u00f6chte. Dann geht es weiter mit dem Auto nach <\/strong><strong>\u00cdhavo, zur Vila Africana.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"Https:\/\/www.olimar.de\/portugal\/die-mitte\/\">Portugal &#8211; die Mitte Reiseangebote und Hoteltipps entdecken <\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Arte Nova ist die portugiesische Bezeichnung f\u00fcr Jugendstil. Diese Kunstrichtung entstand am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts und verbreitete sich von Paris ausgehend in Europa. Und so entstanden in Portugal in der Zeit von 1905 \u2013 1920 viele Arte Nova H\u00e4user.<\/p>\n<p>Die H\u00e4user wurden von portugiesischen R\u00fcckkehrern gebaut, die in Brasilien reich geworden waren und es sich leisten konnten, derartig aufwendig und verspielt zu bauen. Viele dieser Geb\u00e4ude wurden sp\u00e4ter verlassen und verfielen. Doch seit einigen Jahren werden viele H\u00e4user gew\u00fcrdigt und restauriert, ganz besonders in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olimar.de\/blog\/aveiro\/\">Aveiro<\/a> und \u00cdlhavo.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eine steinerne Blumenschale mit bunten Blumen auf einem Dach in der Avenida Louren\u00e7o Peixoto,<\/li>\n<li>ein kleiner Pavillon im Parque Infante D. Es befindet sich im Stadtzentrum, gegen\u00fcber vom Jardim do Rossio, mit Blick auf den Kanal. Dieses Museum ist der beste Startpunkt f\u00fcr einen kleinen Jugendstil-Stadtspaziergang durch Aveiros Altstadt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Das Museum f\u00fcr Arte Nova<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Erdgeschoss kann man in der \u201eCasa do Ch\u00e1\u201c im Innenhof Tee trinken und abends manchmal live Musik h\u00f6ren. Letzteres hat nichts mit Jugendstil zu tun, ist aber trotzdem sch\u00f6n. In den oberen R\u00e4umen wird eine kleine Ausstellung zum Jugendstil gezeigt. Interessanter ist aber das Geb\u00e4ude selber.<\/p>\n<p>Die vordere Fassade hat Bogenfenster mit Streben, schmiedeeiserne Balkongitter und steinerne Ornamente. Oben auf der Spitze thront ein Adler aus Stein. Bunte Fliesen mit Enten und Seerosen zieren die Wand im Eingang. Er erkl\u00e4rt mir, dass der Jugendstil in Portugal in der Tat mehr Geb\u00e4ude und Fassaden betrifft als beispielsweise M\u00f6belst\u00fccke. Er dr\u00fcckt mir eine kleine Brosch\u00fcre in die Hand, mit 28 Beispielen von Jugendstilgeb\u00e4uden in Aveiro. Perfekt, um eine Tour zusammenstellen.<\/p>\n<p>Ich gehe zun\u00e4chst in Richtung Pra\u00e7a Humberto Delgado und schon nach 100 Metern sehe ich drei Jugendstilh\u00e4user: die \u201eAntiga Cooperative Agricola\u201c, das Geb\u00e4ude der ehemaligen Landwirtschaftskooperative, daneben das Haus, in dem das \u201eMuseu da Cidade\u201c untergebracht ist, und als drittes die \u201eCasa dos Ovos Moles\u201c. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olimar.de\/blog\/portugal-kulinarisch\/\">Ovos Moles<\/a> sind <em>die<\/em> ber\u00fchmte s\u00fc\u00dfe Spezialit\u00e4t von Aveiro: eine oblaten\u00e4hnliche H\u00fclle mit einer supers\u00fc\u00dfen Zucker-Eigelb-F\u00fcllung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery aligncenter is-style-rectangular\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__gallery\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__row\"><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1600\" data-id=\"15436\" data-link=\"https:\/\/blog.olimar.de\/?attachment_id=15436\" data-url=\"https:\/\/blog.olimar.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Museu-da-Cidade_1200x1600.jpg\" data-width=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/blog.olimar.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Museu-da-Cidade_1200x1600.jpg?ssl=1\" layout=\"responsive\"><\/figure><\/div><div class=\"tiled-gallery__col\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\"><figure class=\"tiled-gallery__item\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1600\" data-id=\"15435\" data-link=\"https:\/\/blog.olimar.de\/?attachment_id=15435\" data-url=\"https:\/\/blog.olimar.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Antiga-Cooperativa-Agricola_1200x1600.jpg\" data-width=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/blog.olimar.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Antiga-Cooperativa-Agricola_1200x1600.jpg?ssl=1\" layout=\"responsive\"><\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf der anderen Seite des Platzes, am Anfang der Rua da Coimbra 1-3 befindet sich das Jugendstilhaus \u201eAntiga Sapataria Migueis\u201c. Von dem Platz sieht man auf die \u201cAntiga Capitania\u201d, die wie die H\u00e4user Venedigs direkt \u00fcber dem Kanal gebaut wurde. Kein Wunder, dass Aveiro oft als \u201eVenedig Portugals\u201c bezeichnet wird.<\/p>\n<p>Von hier aus gehe ich in Richtung Pra\u00e7a do Peixe. Vorbei an dem Jugendstildenkmal \u201eMonumento A Liberdade\u201c auf der Pra\u00e7a Melo Freitas, vorbei an der alten Apotheke \u201eFarm\u00e1cia Ala\u201c. Ich schlendere durch die Gassen zur Pra\u00e7a do Peixe. In der Mitte dieses Platzes befindet sich die alte Fisch-Markthalle, auch ein Jugenstil-Geb\u00e4ude. Sie ist \u00fcbrigens immer noch in Betrieb. Und schon bin ich wieder am Museu de Arte Nova, dieses Mal am Hintereingang, dem Eingang zum Innenhof des \u201cCasa do Ch\u00e1\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jugendstil in \u00cdlhavo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich fahre weiter nach \u00cdlhavo, denn in der Nachbarstadt von Aveiro befindet sich eines der sch\u00f6nsten Beispiele f\u00fcr Jugendstil \u00fcberhaupt: die Vila Africana in der Rua Vasco da Gama 105. Gelbe Fliesen stehen im Kontrast zum blau-gestrichenen Eisen. Engels- oder Frauenk\u00f6pfe wachen an den Hausecken \u00fcber dem Fenster. Direkt \u00fcber dem Fenster ein L\u00f6wenkopf. Unter dem Dach ein gemalter Fries mit Blumen. Ich frage meine Freundin in Aveiro. Wahrscheinlich waren die Besitzer R\u00fcckkehrer aus Afrika, aber sicher ist sie sich nicht. Am anderen Ende der Rua Vasco da Gama ist das ehemalige Kino \u201eTexas\u201c, das bis in die 80er Jahre in Betrieb war. Hier, in der Rua de Jo\u00e3o do Deus, wurde aus einem ehemaligen Theater die \u201eDrogaria Vizinhos\u201c, eine Eisenwarenhandlung. Hinter einem Tresen aus Holz sieht man in den ehemaligen Saal, jetzt voller Regale und Waren.\u00a0 Oben an der Wand laufen die Galerien, Cam\u00f5es\u201d steht oben links an der Galerie. Luis Vaz de Cam\u00f5es war der gr\u00f6\u00dfte portugiesische Dichter, jetzt steht sein Name \u00fcber Schrauben und N\u00e4geln.<\/p>\n<p>Selbst die Verwaltung von \u00cdlhavo ist in einem Jugendstilgeb\u00e4ude untergebracht, in der Vila Vieira, die top restauriert ist. Es ist, als ob die Stadt ihre vergessenen Sch\u00e4tze entdeckt, und St\u00fcck f\u00fcr St\u00fcck herausputzt. Und so geh\u00f6rt die Stadt seit 2009 sogar zusammen mit Havanna, Wien und Barcelona zum Resau Art Nouveau Network!
